Todd works collaboratively with his clients to get the best outcome for the R&D work they are carrying out. He considers that visiting a company’s R&D lab or site is critical for gaining a deep understanding of a client’s project.

“I love to see first-hand the great things Australian companies are developing and to help them in maximising their R&D tax incentive claims.”

Todd has been a judge for the Australian Technology Competition and was nominated for Australian Mining Magazine’s contribution to mining award in 2016.

Kelvin has over 30 years of dedicated experience in the R&D Tax Incentive program. He commenced with the Department of Industry in 1988 and had over 14 years of experience in working in the administrative role of the R&D Tax Incentive program – his last role being head of the R&D Tax Audit Assessment branch.

Since then he has gained industrial experience as an R&D Tax Manager for a large Australian food company before joining the Big 4 Accounting firms – KPMG and then Deloitte.

Kelvin assists companies to maximise their entitlements to the R&D Tax Incentive and various other government assistance programs.

His hands-on approach assists with the preparation of R&D applications, development of R&D project support documents, and strategies for ATO and AusIndustry audits.
